EDUCATION 1900.

The common characteristic of the twentieth century with regard to education, is the democratization of the same and education, issued by European and American countries in particular and also lead free and compulsory education not only to primary but also secondary .

The Venezuelan nineteenth century education, and the first decades of the twentieth, had a single purpose, location in relation to social and civic spaces and address the educational, was differentiated largely by sex. School programs devoted to the education of girls were permeated and organized by an ideological conception that he thought the female gender predestined by three guidelines. The first, biological-functionalist. Second, moral and spiritual-religious and the third, legal and political, which meant the decline to equality and other civil and political rights, including education and work.Education for young men coincided with national interests and values and also was part of universal tendencies in the individual raise 'morality, intellect and methodical habits of industry, which could be understood as an open road for education for work. the Ministry of Education is named in 1936 Ministry of Education, become federal schools in secondary schools, the Experimental School, the Venezuelan Federation of Master, the First Law of Education during the administration of Dr. Arturo Uslar Pietri, one builds the Universidad Central de Venezuela and edited numerous magazines as Tricolor and Education. In 1950 the Ministry of Education changes its name and establishing bodies such as: IPASME, FEDE and FUNDAYACUCHO, Convenio Andres Bello.

Education in Venezuela, has been paired with his political life has undergone considerable reforms to give the same basic character based on scientific and social values. But in my opinion the mistake of our time is that we are witnessing regressive visions aiming to turn the past into some representation of the country that does not feed in some respects a modern education and updated ..
