TOURISM

It is said that the key element of tourism is putting the individual in direct contact with their natural environment with the aim of providing infrastructure, means and facilities for compliance. Tourism has become one of the most important economic activities of any particular country of Venezuela as it not only impacts the financial sector itself, it also strongly influences the results of other sectors.

In Venezuela we use the construction of different facilities for tourism purposes as the Jardin Acuario, Merida State, built in 1971, The Cable Car System of Merida, built by French companies Applevage, Egeca and Agecom in the year 1956, which is the highest and longest in the world. Great work of engineering that links the city of Merida, located at 1577 meters, one of the peaks of Pico Bolivar, 5.007metros on sea level, was rebuilt in 1970 in the town of Margaret, the birthplace Juan Bautista Arismendi, Faro Porlamar is also built in 1985, In 1986, in Zulia State establishing The Swamp Olivitos a wildlife refuge. Established in 1986, among other infrastructure which has been of great interest to tourists in our country.

So for this period tourism helps in increasing the quality of life of our people and maintaining our natural attractions to be used as tourist attractions places over the years became options to visit.
